ABOUT JARED

Jared G. Lilly, CFRE, is an accomplished management consultant and development professional with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector—as an executive staff member, board director, consultant, volunteer, and donor. Lilly’s years of fundraising service and nonprofit administration offer a record of success in devising and executing strategies focused on growth and productivity. 

A strategic thinker in his approach to consulting, Lilly fashions multi-phased plans intended to guide a client’s current activities to realize short-term results while also providing a roadmap for continued realistic growth, emphasizing achievable long-range sustainability. He is a results-driven and highly creative nonprofit executive with a demonstrated ability to manage organizational resources while improving internal operations within start-up and high-growth environments. A skillful facilitator, Lilly works collaboratively with his clients to significantly grow philanthropic support and maximize organizational effectiveness.

Before launching JGLilly Consulting, Lilly was the Director of Development for the National Independent Venue Foundation, The Futuro Media Group, and the Berkshire Opera Festival. Lilly received an MA in Performing Arts Administration from New York University, and, a classically-trained vocalist and pianist, he holds a BA in Music Performance from Wake Forest University. 

Lilly’s passion for philanthropy is evidenced in his commitment to personal board service and volunteerism. Currently, he sits on the Wake Forest University School of Divinity Board of Visitors and is the President of the WAKENewYork Community. Previously, he served on the Wake Forest University College Board of Visitors and Young Alumni Development Board. Active within the communities where he has resided, Lilly has also served on numerous other boards and committees in New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

ABOUT MARLA

Marla Lilly, the firm’s Executive Assistant, is a four-year-old Mountain Cur rescue pup from Kentucky. While she loves that Lilly works to provide her favorite treats and toys, she much prefers spending her days sleeping on the job, watching squirrels, and greeting new clients. Marla is a foster-fail, thanks to the amazing work of Muddy Paws Rescue.
